How to Set Magento 2 Payment Method by Customer Groups?
With a big catalog of 234+ extensions for your online store
Online store owners need various features to cater to their customers from different regions. For instance, if a merchant provides Cash-On-Delivery (COD) or every local order, the method cannot be applied for global clients who make purchases overseas. In other cases, several payment gateways require some taxes and fees in different countries that the store owner cannot afford.
Even though the default Magento offers a variety of payment modes that can be limited to specific customer groups, it does not allow merchants to confine payment methods by customer groups.
In this article, we would show how to restrict payment methods by customer groups, facilitating the payment process between your shoppers and your online store.
