Which rule will be applied on a product which belongs to more than 1 category?

If a product belongs to more than 1 category, the size chart which is displayed for this product will depend on the path leading to it. For example, if product A belongs to Women category and Jackets category also. The size chart for product A will be applied according to rules set for Women if the path which leads to product is Home > Women > product A; and will be the other if the path is Home > Jackets > product A. Also, rules which have higher priority will be displayed. Refer user guide for detailed instruction

Create unlimited Table Rates shipping methods to apply for goods delivery based on the combination of the following parameters:

Country: For example, apply for the destination country such as the USA

State/ Region: For example, apply for the state as Michigan

Postcode/ZIP code: For example, apply for the postal code as 49837

Weight range: For example, the weight of the order from 2kg to 5kgs

Volumetric weight supported

With Table Rate Shipping, the shipping cost also can be calculated by the density of a package, called volumetric weight. Store admins can input the volume of the package or the height, width, and length of the package. Then the volumetric weight of the parcel will be calculated. For example, if you have a box that’s 36 cm x 25 cm x 16 cm and your carrier uses a dimensional weight divisor of 5000, your DIM weight is 3 kg.

Store owners have another helpful method to calculate the weight to charge customers the shipping cost appropriately with certain shipping methods.

Multiple table rate calculation types

Another feature of Table Rate Shipping is allowing the store admin to create multiple shipping rates for one shipping method. Admins can change the elements affecting the shipping rates as below:

The fixed rate per item

The rate percentage per item

The fixed rate per weight unit

The fixed rate per order

Based on the settings of store admins, the table rate will be calculated based on item rate, weight unit, the percentage of the product price or order rate or the combination. For example, the shipping rate per order is $2 plus 1% of a product price.

Import table shipping rates quickly

Instead of setting table rates manually step by step, store admins can import the shipping rates quickly in two different ways: Import via CSV file or Import via another shipping method.

Store admins can import all the data of a shipping method quickly via a CSV file with all conditions and rate settings. Besides, in case the store admin would like to create a new shipping method with some changes from an available one, they can import directly the data from the available shipping method then do editing.

The form can be shown at any page, any position on a page to collect as much as responses.

Estimated delivery days

With Magento 2 Table Rate Shipping extension, for each shipping method, store admins can notify customers about the delivery time by setting the number of days. Depending on that, when selecting shipping methods on the checkout page, customers can know the estimated shipping time before they complete the order.
